Luxury Tress was founded in January of 2006 by Marcia Y. Cross of Smithfield, Virginia.  She decided to create Luxury Tress Branded Hair Extensions when she found how many salons were not offering Strand Hair Extensions services on their menu due to high cost.  She opened the first Luxury Tress Salon in June 2012 to cater specifically to hair extensions.

  Luxury Tress Hair Extensions is a division of Marcia Enterprises, Inc. which consists of 3 subsidiary companies LUXURY TRESS HAIR EXTENSIONS, LUXURY TRESS THE SALON, & GLAMOUR MAIDS (R) BY MARCIA. Luxury Tress offers dynamite certified courses & training DVD's, hair extensions & tools to professionals.

 In Feb 2010 Marcia founded and  trademarked "Hott Links"  Hair Extensions which are instant highlights by the strand. They are sold across the U.S. to salons.
