A lot of you may look at that figure and you may say wow she must be extra busy. She must stay at the salon all night. lol Well that's definitely not the case. I actually do the opposite. Now I must say I am very busy but if you could ask any of the Luxury Tress Team if i'm in the salon a lot they will say NO! I'm about to tell you how I've created a six figure salary for myself as a hair stylist. Actually I only work 3 days a week behind the chair. I'm never in before 9am and never there after 8pm. That's a late night for me. i'm a mother of 3 and wife so i can't work late hours anymore. Some select stylists make this already but few can say they do it in less than 25 hours a week. Some live very stressful lives & have little time for family. I own the salon but believe me when I tell you that I don't make a penny from the salon. It's a booth rental salon and this type of business is quite up and down. That's definitely not the route you want to go if you are looking to make more money and have less stress in your life. Right now if i close my salon i would actually make more money. so making $4000 a week Is so much simpler than that. I did 2 things to change my financial status. This is one of many weekly Square income reports. I chose this one because it's actually a lot more than $4000 Per week but my average is $4000 per week and remember i only work 3 days a week about 6 hrs per day if that! This is Real & You can do the same thing by following these steps.

1. I decided to become a Hair Extension Master!

Now before I lose some of you, even if you offer other services you can still be a hair extension master. It basically means you're a master in the techniques that you offer. Let me tell you that this was a complete change for me because when I started my career I specialized in cutting. I'm actually a Barber by trade. So I love to cut women and men's hair but around 2009 I became interested in hair extensions. Around 2010 I fell in love with them. I didn't start out doing sew-ins. I refused to do them because I couldn't corn row as well and it was complicating to me. I started initially doing fusion and micro links. I took expensive classes across the U.S. because there were none close to me. To make a long story short I've learned over 20 techniques to date. I offer about 10-15 on my menu and I actively do only about 5 of those methods. So basically I found that out of all of the new techniques and options that continue to surface, majority of extension wearers are going to ask for the classic methods and that probably will never change. I said that to assure you that becoming a hair extension master is not hard at all. You won't have to take any expensive classes. Fusion
Micro Links
Sew Ins
1 Hour Hair Extension Service (Braidless Sew-In)

Now I must say that different cultures tend to sway towards certain methods. It's definitely not a racist statement, it's just a reality statement so I don't want anyone to flip. haha I happen to do all cultures but I don't want anyone to feel like if they can't do all five of these methods that you can't be a hair extension master. I will note which methods you should offer. By no means does this mean that these are the only money makers but if you are new to this then these are the most important methods.

Textured Hair - 1. ) Sew-Ins, 2. ) Braidless Sew-In, 3.) Micro Links 4.) Blowouts

Straight Hair - 1.) Fusion, 2.) 1 Hour Hair Extension Service, 3.) Clip - Ins 4.) Tape Hair

(These are in order of importance. So if you only want to offer one then the first listed are the best choice.)

If you're wondering why I don't have Micro Links in the straight hair list it's because they tend to slip out of straight hair so I always do fusion in these instances. For textured hair micro links work very well. They hold with no slippage. They wear well and no they don't break your hair out when worn following proper instruction. The Braidless sew-In is the same method as the 1 Hour Hair Extension Service but one name is more catchy than the other. Some methods you will have to introduce to your clients but I will teach you how to do this if you take my classes here:

It's good to present methods to your clients that they are not familiar with because it shows your them that you are staying ahead of the game and therefore it helps them trust your judgement.

These methods Pay from$300-$800 on average and in some areas up to $1500. What you make is up to you but I charge base prices. I'll elaborate more on thisin my classes. Don't worry about whether or not you feel you can get that much money for your services. You can and you will. Clients are more interested in your expertise than the price. 2.) I STARTED SELLING HAIR EXTENSIONS

What do I mean? I started selling the hair extensions that I used on my clients so that they wouldn't have to go to the store. For the Fusion & Micro Link hair I began supplying it myself and I wouldn't allow my client to bring their own hair because each client would bring a different quality hair and it would affect my reputation and speed.

Selling Hair is like Investing in Real Estate. It will never go out of style and although the value fluctuates it's pretty steady. Hair is a necessity and an addiction for some people. It's our glory. We have to have it! Yes, I'm a victim haha. I can't live without my wigs and hair extensions which is a completely different world of it's own.
